There should be a view that allows you to select 4 different web cast feeds and display them full screen. That way you can 4 events at the same time. Or maybe you make it so you have a main feed in the center, with smaller size feeds on the left and right. That way when they are resting a field at one event you can be watching a match at another.

Honestly, the ticker needs some improvement, I minimized it last year. It is not a bad idea, it just needs the edges sanded down. I would like it to be shortened to a short space showing:
EVENT RED TEAMS BLUE TEAMS
MATCH # RED SCORE BLUE SCORE
(winners and score bolded)
A good idea would be to have two or three matches shown horizontally, with arrows the side to go forwards or backwards.

I do not see awards being too important or plausible in the ticker, but if there is enough demand, and the award page is updated quick enough, I would think the far right match (since some events run matches while others run awards) can be replaced with:
EVENT AWARD
TEAM # TEAM NAME
Again with arrows. As a side thought you might put it so there are matches "marching" horizontally and any awards are injected into the same ticker stream.
This is my advice, take it or leave it, but please do something.
